Shoppers Drug Mart – Country Club raises more than $5815.00

You helped Shoppers Drug Mart, Country Club Centre raise $5815.00 for Nanaimo & District Hospital Foundation in support of women’s health for Nanaimo and area through Growing Women’s Health.

“We’re thrilled with the success of the 2017 Growing Women’s Health campaign. Each year, our customers and staff demonstrate their generosity and their commitment to supporting women in our community, and we couldn’t be more proud of everyone’s contribution,” said Tim Franklin, Pharmacist Owner of Shoppers Drug Mart Country Club Centre. “Nanaimo & District Hospital Foundation plays an important role in our community and the proceeds from this year’s campaign will go a long way to helping them further that work.”

Teddy Bears for Tots

Archie Hannah of the Bikers Toy Run group dropped several dozen stuffed teddy bears to the hospital this month for all of the kids receiving medical care.

To date Archie has brought in thousands of these toys. Their gifts total more than $200,000.

We thank all of the members of the Bikers Toy Run group and a very special thanks to Archie for work he continues to do for the communities in the region.

Hand Carved Noah’s Ark

Carvers Wolf Danielowski, Anneli Muir and Don Olsen, President of the Mid Island Carving Club donated this beautiful hand carved Ark and animals to the Hospital Foundation.

Paddling for Medical Imaging
