The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #257, Lantzville made a donation of $2,000 for Dufferin Place to support the residents living there. In celebration of this donation, the Legion President, Frank Mezzatesta honoured Georgina Rosewall for her special 95th birthday. Georgina is one of the founding members of the Lantzville Legion. Also, in the photo is Janice Perrino, CEO of the Nanaimo & District Hospital Foundation. Donations over the past 20 years to the Hospital Foundation total nearly $80K.
