Carol Connolly from the Nanoose Quilters brought more than 25 quilts to the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital for the NICU, Maternity and Paediatrics. This incredible group donates quilts all year long for various departments in the hospital. We thank all of the members for putting their love and talent into these beautiful blankets.

We appreciate the thoughtfulness and generosity of local quilter, Marjorie Godbout, with her continued quilt donations. Her most recent quilt donation will be going to our littlest of patients.

In 2019 young philanthropists Alexa and her brother Josh decided to do a lemonade stand and raised $150 for our hospital. This year Alexa and her friend Savannah did their lemonade stand for 2 days and raised $230 for the new ICU at NRGH. These are such inspiring young people!

Every February Quality Foods, in partnership with Dempster’s, donates 25 cents from participating products sold to the QF Community Health Endowment Fund.
