A Garden Built by Community at Trillium Lodge

Donation from the Parksville Qualicum Community Foundation

This past Friday, Trillium Lodge was filled with sunshine, teamwork, and community as over 50 residents, family members, volunteers, and staff came together to transform a cement wasteland into a beautiful garden space.

With support from the Parksville Qualicum Community Foundation, Royal Canadian Legion #76, Sproutbox, Gardenworks, Superior Farms, Sea Soil, Pepsi, and many generous community members, the new garden will give residents a peaceful place to enjoy the outdoors this summer and for years to come.

“I used to have 2.5 acres of land, and donated many plants back in the day. This feels like full circle for me. Sometimes, we feel left behind by today’s technology, but this… this I understand.” – Trillium resident Larry
