Goals for Brovember: Changing the Face of Men’s Health
This November, our local hockey community is stepping up for something bigger than the game.
The Thundercocks are leading the charge with the “Goals for Brovember” campaign — rallying the entire Nanaimo Commercial Hockey League (NCHL) to raise awareness and funds for men’s physical and mental health.
At the Nanaimo & District Hospital Foundation, we know that good health starts with open conversations. Too often, men stay silent when they’re struggling — but together, we can change that.
It’s time to puck the stigma and remind each other that real strength comes from checking in, speaking up, and supporting one another — on and off the ice.
How to Support
Score & Give Back: Pledge to donate $1, $5, or any amount per goal your team scores throughout November.
Spread the Word: Share your team’s progress, tag your teammates, and challenge other NCHL teams to join in.
Have Fun: Every game this month can make a real difference. Let’s turn goals into good for men in our community
