31st Annual Golf For Life Tournament – A Phenomenal Success!

This year, the Nanaimo & District Hospital Foundation hosted the 31st Annual Golf For Life Tournament, and thanks to the incredible support of our community, we’re excited to share that it was a tremendous success!

Over 126 golfers, along with more than 23 sponsors and partners, came together to help us raise over $180,000. This year’s fundraising will have a direct and meaningful impact on the lives of those who rely on the Emergency Department (ER) at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital (NRGH).

The funds raised will allow us to purchase 19 out of the 25 Philips Vital Sign Monitors urgently needed in the ER. These monitors are critical to providing fast, accurate information to doctors and nurses as they make life-saving decisions for patients.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our participants and donors, the Emergency Department will be better equipped to provide top-quality care to the community.

It’s not just about a great day on the course (although that’s certainly part of the fun!) it’s about people coming together to make a difference. What’s Next?

While we’ve made great progress, our work isn’t finished. The Emergency Department still needs 6 more monitors to meet its goal, and your continued support can help us get there.
