Donor Support Powers Equipment Bursaries for Two Nanaimo Clinics
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors, this April two Nanaimo-based primary care clinics received $5,000 in forgivable loans to purchase much-needed medical equipment. These bursaries are part of an ongoing initiative led in partnership with the Nanaimo Division of Family Practice to support local clinics and enhance access to primary care in our region.
These investments are made possible because people like you believe in the power of local healthcare. Every gift to the Foundation helps fuel initiatives like these—strengthening clinics, supporting physicians, and ultimately helping patients get the care they need.

Donor support is helping bring more family doctors to our region through a collaboration with the Division of Family Practice. In addition to equipment bursaries, donor-funded incentives. Learn more about this program.
If you are a physician and would like to learn more, please contact the Nanaimo Division of Family Practice team directly.
And if you or a loved one needs a primary care provider, we encourage you to register with the Health Connect Registry, which is actively working with local clinics to connect residents with family doctors and nurse practitioners.
Together, through your generosity, we’re helping local healthcare teams provide the best possible care.
